My name is Emily Crosby and I am originally from Sulligent, AL. I moved to Guntown, MS in 2010 to pursue ministry. I have always known since I was a child that God had huge plans for my life, and at the age of 16, God revealed that calling to me, which was to work with youth. I started visiting The Orchard about 2 ½ years ago and fell in love with the way God was moving and using everyone here. I immediately wanted to get plugged in and begin pursuing ministry at The Orchard! I started volunteering in GrowZone by leading worship for K-5th grade on Sunday mornings, and I eventually began to help lead worship on mainstage. I became a member of the church after visiting for a couple of months. I came to a time in my life where I felt like I could be doing more in ministry or doing something more with my life, so I began praying and seeking God to find out just what I was supposed to be doing. After trying to accomplish goals I had set for myself, that I thought were God’s plan, He redirected my steps for the better. I am now the pastor for 6th grade students and families in our KickStart ministry area. It was the best decision I have ever made to step into this ministry! I thank God for redirected steps!
